David's Grill - Sparks

Service and food was terrible, Instead of medium well burger, we’ve got well done crispy on the outside! And the sweet potato fries were burnt! Our waitress never checked on us Or filled our drinks Until we were ready to leave and didn’t say a word! We had to hunt down one of the youngsters running around there to get our check, And it wasn’t even busy. It’s a nice place if they could get provide better service!

David's grill has pretty good food and a nice chill atmosphere. But the service on soooo many levels just suck. Too many kids working here that have no clue on how to serve people. The waitress threw our check on the table like we were bothering her for asking for a check. I asked for a spoon and the waiter left to come back and ask again what I needed. I've eaten here many times and will not tip again if I come back. It's really sad these folks are even employed.

Worst experience ever. My husband and I are regulars and something in the kitchen went wrong this time. I ordered the Greek salad, which I get every time and my husband ordered the smash burger. We also ordered risotto balls I don't remember what they are actually called) as an appetizer. I've never had them before and they came in a timely manner and we're pretty good but not that warm. An hour later we are still waiting for our food and had to flag down the waitress. Apparently our ticket was lost. After Manager One got involved our food showed up and my husband's burger was fine but the chicken was missing on my salad. The waitress offered to bring a side chicken but if you've ever had this salad it would not be the same so I asked for a new salad. A minute later out comes the same salad with, what looked liked 2 pieces of sliced chicken across the top. This is not the way this salad is served and exactly what I did not want so I sent it back. Manager one asked if I wanted something else instead of giving me what I originally ordered. Meanwhile we've been at David's for 1 and 1/2 hours and all the people that came after have eaten and left. I'm starving and my husband has finished his meal. Manager two comes by and offers to pay for our meal and order my salad to go. I know she was trying to be kind and the waitress was mortified but we decided to leave after almost 2 hours and I left hungry. We did not pay for anything but our waitress should have come by much sooner to find out why we were still waiting on food an hour after we arrived. Manager one should have waited to give me the salad the way it's supposed to be instead of putting too much chicken over the top of the original salad and rushing it back out. Davids failed on all levels this time and I don't think I'll be back any time soon. Very dissapointing.

Sat outside, which was beautiful, so kids could play. Kid-friendliness: Kids had an area outside where they could be kids as well as under supervision.

Food was excellent and service was great. We ordered the sand wedge salad and ceasar salad, both were very good. We split the Dave's good ol' burger with onion rings and side of fries, perfectly cooked to our liking and onion rings were sweet and crispy. Fries were also crispy.
