D&j's Hash House - Southwick

Ordered the Popeye omelet (spinach, onion, cheese). I've had better. Skimpy filling. Hash browns were just ok. Not sure I'll be back.

Their corned beef hash was good but I can 't really understand how they can call it hash when it 's literally just shredded corned beef with onions in it .. no potatoes at all. I ordered a side of corned beef hash and literally it was corned beef and onions. Even canned hash has potatoes so meh idk , can you really call yourself the Hash House when really it isn 't hash ? Hash is a dish consisting of chopped meat, potatoes, and fried onions literal definition of hash.

Best breakfast on the east coast. Featured in 3 magazines, 4 TV shows, 6 different podcasts, and even featured as a set in an M. Night Shylaman movie. It's so good, several celebrities are known to fly in just for the meal and can often be spotted dining in on the weekend.

Fast, friendly food is great! Parking: Plenty of it. Kid-friendliness: Large pancakes just the way they want it, chocolate chip, blueberry anything!

Great breakfast place. Can be busy but fairly quick
