The Union Jack - Southwark

The website shows a beautiful restaurant in the upper floor, so this is the reason why I have booked. the restaurant above was not open but we sat down in the bar. I feel the reason for it because they are not busy enough to open it. very disappointed as it was for a birthday party and I would never have booked if I had known. also the starters came with the most important cursors. we have placed our order at the bar, but still calculated 12.5% service. it is clearly indicated on the menu service fee is on orders in the bar.

After we waited five minutes for two employees to finish their conversation before we acknowledge our arrival, we were told online bookings that were made on the same day, not count. fortunately, there were seating, but they could be published on the booking page of the Charlotte/On open table. our food also arrived before our drinks. Eat and atmosphere were both great, so it is a shame that the bad service let the charlotte down.

The service was slow and we were too late to work. softdrinks were very expensive! but eating was good and lunch was worth a good one.

Even though I had booked a table through the app (directed here by the pub website) when i arrived, we were told we would have to wait at least 20 minutes for a table. When I asked about my reservation, I was told the booking site is broken.
