Smoothie King - Southgate

I really enjoy Smoothie King, but I dislike the drive-thru setup. I had to wait for 15 minutes in the drive-thru before I could even place my order, and once you're in line, there's no way to get out because of the curbs. I won't be returning unless the inside of the restaurant is open.

I adore Smoothie King! It is my top choice for smoothie shops in Michigan. With a wide variety of boost options, it outshines its competitors. I enjoy indulging in their workout smoothies, fruity smoothies, and green smoothies - they are all delicious!

Sometimes there's a bit of a wait or a long wait depending on the time of day but the smoothies are really good especially when Michelle or daisy are there.

I am giving this restaurant a 1-star rating for now. I was only able to buy a smoothie two out of five times. The smoothie was delicious, but I don't recommend ordering ahead because everyone has to use the drive-thru and there is no parking spot for pick up. The drive-thru lines are very long, with only one speaker and one lane, causing delays for customers who have never been there before. I believe that if there is no pick-up spot or open indoor seating, there should be someone outside assisting customers before they reach the speaker. I will give this restaurant another try in a few months, but in the meantime, I will go to Tropical Smoothie because they deliver and I don't have to wait 30 minutes.
