Bidra med feedbackTerrible issues w/chef John who was screaming @servers, cussing about customers and our dinner took 30 minutes and was terrible! He said Hell, if they want it raw, I can do raw too! This was over baked fish that is on the menu! Terrible and no resolution. Have been going for many years, will never return.
We went on a Saturday night at 5pm. Would hate to see what later in the evening was like. Food was cold, seasonings VERY strange and NOT mentioned on menu or we would have chosen something different. Steaks were tough, sides very cold or not cooked at all. Server kept apologizing about KITCHEN PROBLEMS with equipment. Went for Prime Rib found out only on Thursdays. Chophouse ? OK how about steaks? COLD, TOUGH and not at all good and over priced for the cut! Desert menu items not available or of poor quality. Thank goodness we had a half off coupon, as it was we still spent close to $100 with very little to show for it.
The service was friendly and prompt. Salad bar had hardly any lettuce, the soup was almost empty and was unable to even try it. The salad bar could have been cleaned up quite a bit. I was really put off by this since they were not very busy. We had 3 adults who ate the whitefish, ribs and steak. The meat was pretty good but the steak was cooked wrong. It was well done (has ordered) on the outside but the inside was ****. The rice that came with the meal was cold and every entree came with a big pile of frozen peas. Frozen peas??? This restaurant could have real potential if the kitchen was run better.
