Purple Penguin Premium Frozen Yogurt

We have been pleased with our experiences here in the past up until last night. The two girls working were preoccupied with a group of their friends when we came in. One girl immediately told us not to try using the chocolate flavor because it's broken. We proceeded to get our froyo...the girl's friends had to tell her that we were waiting to be helped. I told her I was still waiting for my family to finish getting theirs so we weren't quite ready. A minute later we were ready all standing at the register, the one girl continued to socialize with her group of friends and the other walked straight past us, behind the register and straight to the back completely ignoring us. I had to assert myself that we were ready after awkwardly standing there while she carried on with her buddies. They all had a laugh when we said we were ready because she clearly wasn't doing her job. Super uncomfortable, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. I get these are young kids running the joint but they need basic training on customer service. Disappointed.

Ice cream good ... Expensive but fun set up. Most disgusting trash can near tables outside to eat I've EVER seen! Take it to go.

I was really excited to find that there was a frozen yogurt venue near where I live! But was utterly disappointed to find that they didn't serve the original tart yogurt.... I admit they had a lot of flavors ranging but again, none of which were the original tart! They had a lot of options for toppings- one wall was filled with dispensers for all dry toppings and then there was another section for scooping options for fruits and more wet ingredients. There was a good amount of seating and though I went a while ago and could be mistaken, I'm pretty sure I was offered a military discount here. Aside from the lack of original tart, I was really really put off by the smell inside the venue. It smelled like gym socks and it was so pungent I wanted to leave as soon as I entered. To be honest, I don't know if I will be back.

Did you know that frozen yogurt is good for colon cleansing and yeast infections? I learned this from the Purple Penguin. Aside from being prepared to explain these things to your children when they are able to read, things here are pretty standard. The flavors I had did taste a little more watery than other frozen yogurt places and less creamy. I had pumpkin (quite good , chocolate, and coffee. Toppings are certainly bountiful. Candy comes in upright turn jars which could be fun for kids to build their own. I love the crushed waffle come pieces. Staff is nice. Given as you probably come here if you live in the local area, it's good to stop by and decide for yourself. Plus, you might also learn something about probiotics preventing bubble guts.
