World Famous Turkey Legs Express

2nd time trying them. Their food is not cooked fresh everyday and it’s definitely warmed and reheated every single day. The corn bread is always hard as a brick and dry as the desert…? but the lady at the counter always has good hospitality but the food I can’t.

We visited this Black-owned business, and the woman working the counter was lovely. She helped us graciously and was so thankful for our patronage. We had to wait a while, but once we got our food, everything was made well. The turkey legs were so meaty, tender and seasoned well; the sides we had (greens, yams, Mac Cheese, and potato salad) were all tasty. We enjoyed every bit of what we had and will return again!

The first time trying this place was so fyee . And customer service was nice . Notice I said FIRST . Second time trying it the young girl In the front had an attitude when I asked her is everything was okay . She responded nasty until a white man walked in and her attitude went from 10 to 0 real fast. Tried it today the stuffed turkey leg with dressing. Very good but the mother customer service is really bad just like the young girl . This will be my last time going there . Thanks but no thanks !

First time there, and caught them right before they close. I enjoyed the ox tail (1st time trying them) and the chitterlings plate. Definitely will be back to try the other options on their menu. The lady behind the counter has a pleasant spirit. Good down home southern food in Southaven, MS and might be the only one in town

I honestly believe once this place gets The Kinks worked out it's going to be absolutely amazing. So a friend of mine order the turkey leg dinner and I ordered smothered pork chops rice and gravy mac and cheese green beans and a side of spaghetti. I also order pecan pie because they were out of their other desserts. I was told it would be a 20 to 30 minute on the smothered pork chops. I said okay. Five minutes later they sent out my friends turkey leg dinner... Which made us think that my chops were going to come sooner than we thought. We were wrong. I did end up waiting over 30 minutes for that smothered pork chop dinner... so I took the dinner back to my hotel and upon getting to the hotel I realize that my smothered pork chops had no seasoning or flavor to them the gravy had no seasoning and was watery and of course if they served with rice you know the rice has no flavor. The knight in shining armor however was the macaroni and cheese. 1/4 pole of the macaroni and cheese and I was like oh heaven heaven is mine! The macaroni and cheese was the most delicious thing I've eaten in the past 2 or 3 days! The spaghetti was good as well but that macaroni and cheese took the cake! The pecan pie was absolutely delectable... But that macaroni and cheese what's seasoned perfectly creamy pasta cooked perfectly it was just absolutely amazing. While the pork chops gravy and rice did not impress, I will say that the macaroni and cheese is definitely worth me return it even if that's the only thing I eat!
