Carluccio's - Southampton

Food, service and attention to detail were much poorer than my ordinary Carluccios at gunwharf Portsmouth- will not visit the Southampton again

We had a lovely lunch but when we arrived the person on the door said they had no knowledge of our booking. I don't know what went wrong because I received your reminder.

Ordered gluten free spaghetti carbonara. The pasta was rock hard and the pancetta bits were fatty and super chewy, ate less than a third of my meal Told the waitress and she said she'd mention it to the chef but nothing more was said, didn't seem bothered.

Great food as always. Service a bit rushed at the end of a Bank Holiday. No time for dessert and coffee. Maybe next time. There will definitely be a next time.

This is the only place to eat in West Quay wonderful food and great staff. There’s always a good buzz so I always make a point of booking a tAble whenever I come to Southampton
