The Iron Oven - Southampton

The staff was incredibly friendly and appeared to be well-organized, as we noticed tables being cleared promptly and food being served quickly. Our party consisted of four adults and two children. While the restaurant seems to cater primarily to adults, there were plenty of children around as well. The menu is quite extensive. One side features a variety of pizzas, flatbreads, and calzones, while the other side offers a mix of sandwiches, soups, appetizers, and desserts. Most of us ordered entrées, and half of us ordered drinks. The beverage menu was also extensive, with options for custom cocktails, craft beers, and soft drinks. I did wish the cocktail prices were listed, but I understand they can fluctuate. Our drinks arrived quickly and were fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and efficiently placed our order into the kitchen. The food followed shortly after. I started with a bowl of New England clam chowder, which was fresh and not overly thick, featuring generous pieces of clam. We also ordered nachos for the table, which were equally fresh and came with a generous side of sour cream and guacamole. Interestingly, our main courses arrived before we finished the nachos. While this was a bit surprising, it meant our table was soon filled with delicious food. Everything was excellent. Two of us ordered pasta, one had the best ravioli, and the others enjoyed various pizzas. I recommend considering portion sizes for the kids’ pizzas; they could easily satisfy two or three children. In total, our meal for four adults and two children, excluding drinks, came to around $30 per person, including tax. Not bad at all for the quality of the food and cocktails! We look forward to returning soon.

We have visited this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. Their menu offers a wide variety of delicious options! I've tried the wings, burgers, avocado grilled cheese, buffalo chicken dip, and much more! They also have a good selection of craft beers and cocktails that change with the seasons. This place has definitely become one of our favorite spots!
