Bidra med feedbackThis place was our favorite pizza for the past year. Always great wait staff and fair prices. Food has always been amazing. Unfortunately things change. The pizza was just awful and the staff was far from happy. Pizza was thick , under cooked and the chesse was absent. My Gyro was soggy and the chicken was chewy. On top of all that, the coupons were no longer excepted although they were not expired. Such an unfortunate loss of a great pizza spot.
I drove 45 minutes across state lines to try this pizza. If you think I'm going to say the drive was worth it, well... You're correct. The Edge crust was just the right mix of crisp and doughy, the bottom was thin but not too thin, the toppings were generous but not piled on so thick you couldn't enjoy it, there was a great balance of flavor. I got the goat cheese pizza with added prosciutto. It's the one with the white sauce, artichokes, etc. Anyone who knows me knows I've driven 3 hours just for good food before. I regularly drive an hour and a half for my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. I'll gladly drive 45 minutes for this pizza. So if Joe Pizza is local to you.. you have no excuse for not going here
Quality has definitely gone down in recent months, ordered a large pizza and the brussel sprouts appetizer. Pizza was undercooked, I guess mostly okay besides the fact some pieces seem to be more on the dough side. The appetizer I?m pretty sure got us all food poisoning as my girlfriend immediately ran to the bathroom to throw up?.mind you we're also recovering from covid, so yeah definitely no bueno. At this point sad to say the quality has gone downhill so much I wouldn?t recommend anyone to try this place even as a quick stop n go for food. Foodies beware?
Joe Pizza is a great replacement for the old Red Onion Pizza. Updated interior with an extensive menu and nice outdoor seating. Staff was excellent. Fast, friendly, attentive. The food was tasty. We all loved our meals.
I had an exceptional house salad topped with hot off the grill Gyro meat. The salad was filling and included mixture of greens. I also had meatballs there slightly tepid, but still delicious. Interesting I don't think it's been mentioned in reviews yet, but there is a full bar complete with beer, wine, and spirits. There are a handful of house cocktails, but I wasn't impressed with the Manhattan I had. I would stick with basic drinks, like whiskey-coke, instead of ordering specialty drinks.
