Bidra med feedbackThe venue was very busy due to a Christmas Fayre in the garden area, service was very slow and the meal poor. Food very bland, hard Yorkshire puddings, over cooked sprouts and mushy peas which are normally served with fish and chips, NOT a Sunday roast.
This local pub has very nice food; it's tasty and well priced. Sometimes the service can be poor but the food is always lovely.
I love this place so much I’ll be going for Christmas lunch as I have done for the past five year. Leslie the owner and all her staff make your feel very welcome. Food lovely as it’s all freshly made.
Go here quite often for a bit of lunch. There is lots to choose from, homemade chips, pizzas, kids meals. great in the summer, lovely garden and friendly staff.
This is a excellent pub for lunch. Real English food : fish chips;, minced beef leek dumpling, teriyaki salmon fillet served on a bed of stir fried vegetables and much more. Desserts are lemon cheese cake, chocolate fudge cake, sticky toffee pudding, ice cream sunday, all served with either ice cream, cream or custard. If you want a very good pub lunch, this is the place without hesitation.
