The chicken and mushroom pie and the beef chili were delicious and highly recommended. On the other hand, the onion rings were not as good.

The drive to the restaurant was along narrow country lanes with sharp bends, so it's best to drive slowly. Parking was easy to find when we arrived, but it may be more difficult during busy times. We ordered our meals and drinks at the bar and sat outside under a covered area. A friendly waitress quickly brought out our meals, followed by cutlery and condiments. The atmosphere was pleasant, with locals engaging in friendly banter. The dessert was delicious and well-presented with cutlery provided. Overall, the food was good, although nothing too fancy. I would suggest to the owner that the waitstaff receive more training in serving cutlery and condiments before the meal to prevent it from getting cold. Would I return? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes.
