Oysters Fisheries - South Staffordshire

We would go most Saturday afternoons for the medium fish special which was delicious . Chips were beautiful fish nice and white! However haven’t been for a couple of weeks do we decided to try today. Well what can I say the food was appalling! I think the fish and chips were from the day before. Won’t be eating from here again!

Everything you could want from a fish and chip shop good fish, good chips, good value. Kebabss too!

Been here lots of times under the old management and couldn't fault it. Went there again today as we were passing to find it's under new management and when asked for a mini fish special was told they no longer do them and offered us a med fish and sml chips in a cardboard box for £6.50, something I only pay £3.95 for back home. So we left very disappointed and went to our local chippy back home. WILL NOT be going back anytime in the near future and will NOT recommend it to anyone.

Heard lots of good things about the new new proprietors. Gave it a go as not been for ages due to it going downhill over time. Left wanting I’m afraid. The most dreary and drab looking kebabs we’ve possibly ever had. And the rest of our order was distinctly of an average quality dressed up in a fancy cardboard box. I can’t even excuse them for being really busy and rushed off their feet as it was empty when we went in. At £25 for 3 so called specials and 2 kebabs with a small chips it wasn’t worthy of a return any time soon.

The chippy is under new management the food is the best ever! the fish are absolutely fantastic. The new owners know how to cook fish and chips!
