The man in charge of this establishment is terrible. His attitude is awful and he is always intoxicated. There are plenty of words I could use to describe him, but none are appropriate for TripAdvisor.

Someone should tell the landlord he is in the HOSPITALITY trade, which should translate as making your customers feel welcome. Been overcharged by rude staff more than once. This week I heard landlord say to a lady querying a price that if she didn't like it to drink somewhere else. Unbelievable.

Popped in for a Sunday roast and I received a friendly welcome . It was delicious and well priced Also served a well kept pint of ale which is always a bonus! Will be back again

This pub has always been one of Chards lively drinking pubs with a rough reputation and not known for any food but recently they got in ‘Serisl Grillerz’ to run the kitchen and the food is incredible! We had 6oz steak burgers and hot wings, they took a little while but were so worth the wait, big, juicy, meaty and dirty!! Lager was fine, good choice and we found it very friendly

Landlord rude ,always drunk. Terrible place .won't ever go there again. Don't recommend to anyone.
