Bidra med feedbackAn excellent meal. I note there have been one or two negative recent reviews for the Mildmay. All I will say is that our meal was excellent in every way. Excellent service and excellent food. A very enjoyable evening
Visited here on a whim trying to find a nearby place to eat and I can't say I'll return. Ordered the spicy chicken burger... The burger was a butterflied breast with a hint of red flavour (but didn't taste of anything) it/the salad was weirdly wet with water/oil and the bun disintegrated. The slaw was gloupy. The only nice thing were the chips which were classic pub fayre and nice and crispy.
We were in Yeovil for a family wedding and stayed two nights at the Mildmay Arms The staff were extremely welcoming, polite and helpful. The manager was on hand at our chosen breakfast time to make teas, coffee and toast. The Rooms were clean and spacious and comfortable. The food we ordered off the menu was really delicious and we sat outside in the seating area in the sun which was lovely. All in all it was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay again or recommend.
Stopped here on way to Cornwall , lovely looking place , very clean but most of all very welcoming . We had a lovely lunch. Good food for a good price and excellent service would stop here again
This was a very disappointing Sunday lunch, of a much lower standard than previously experienced at the Mildmay. The meat portions were generous, but the vegetables were very over cooked, and some of the ingredients looked and tasted as though they were from packets. There was no real atmosphere and we were glad to leave as soon as our meal was finished.
