Bidra med feedbackAfter finally securing a reservation for a 3-night stay in September, I had to cancel because I contracted Covid. I notified Fleur De Lis about my illness, but despite being quite sick, they still charged me £210 on my credit card with no option for a refund. This stringent policy does not reflect well on their customer service.
Under new management. Cracking start. Went for Sunday lunch. Lamb, beef, turkey, roast potatoes, veg. all cooked beautifully. Great pint too. Highly recommended. Keep up the great work. It's what this village needs.
I had a fantastic roast dinner at this restaurant. The meal was all homemade and the staff were very friendly. It is definitely worth a visit. The beer garden is lovely, there is plenty of parking space, and it is dog-friendly which is a bonus. It is also conveniently located near Ham Hill, where there are beautiful walking trails.
This pub has had very bad past but I think the new people running it will turn it around and that’s no mean feat to say the lest Stoke really does need a decent pub for all sorts of reasons and I really wish them well
This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in some bad ones. The entire building was dirty and poorly maintained, with the staircase leading up to the rooms looking like it had not been cleaned in years. The room itself was old and worn out, with curtains that were barely hanging on to the rail. The bathroom was in a terrible state, with stains in the toilet and a missing shower door replaced with a poorly fitting curtain. There were no cups for the kettle provided, and the shelf in the bathroom was filthy. If it weren't for a wedding we were attending, we would have left immediately. We had to drink extra just to tolerate the room, wake up early, and leave as soon as we could. Don't be fooled by the nice exterior of the hotel - it is not suitable for animals, let alone paying guests.
