Dorothy's Tea Room - South Somerset

The menu was perfect for a Christmas themed afternoon tea. Full of flavours and perfectly executed. We have visited several time before and always recieved outstanding service and food, today was no different. I can't recommend this hidden gem enough, never pretentious or over priced, just everything you would expect and more.

Dorothy’s Tea Room provided a delicious afternoon tea for approximately 60 people for a 60th party. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. All the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We’ve also visited the tea room several times for lunch and coffee/cake, it is always lovely.

Quaint surroundings, and excellent service combined with an extremely delicious high tea, made a perfect gathering for 4 friends. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was amazing and really tasty. One of our group is gluten free, they said it was the best gluten free high tea they have ever had. We couldn't eat all the food, but without asking it was nearly wrapped in foil for us to take away. I recommend booking as it's very popular.
