Redragon Chinese Fusion - South Shields

Takeaway was disappointing. Poor flavours and taste. Very overrated and overpriced. Not enough veggie options. And a dish was missing from the order.

Both of the above names share the same address so unsure if they’ve changed names or amalgamated into one restaurant!? Anyhow, we’d tried Redragon from there before and was reasonably happy so it was time for Greendragon. The delivery arrived just on time, hot and ready to serve with a big bag of free prawn crackers. One beef curry, one chicken and beef curry with salty chilli chips and fried rice were plentiful but we both felt that someting taste wise was missing. Not that impressed

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The food is terrible - it's cold, dry, and tasteless. Prices are high and the staff is unhelpful and rude.

Absolutely disgusting food and service. Ordered food with curry and gravy and both tasted like granules, nothing like the traditional sauces you’d get from other chineses. The food was freezing cold and overall presentation was appalling with the sauces all over the bag and carton. The driver gave our food and then drove away to later have a phone call stating we hadn’t payed despite opting for pay by card on just eat. We received a mouthful of the “manager” claiming we’d stolen the food and then proceeded to have a woman knock on our door telling us it was a disgrace and to f@@ck off. Will not be ordering from here again!

This seems to be a theme with one of the ‘eat’ apps, not the delivery drivers fault but meant we waited a while until the poor woman found us having rang us first. Having said that the food was still hot, ready to serve and plentiful. Indeed there’s enough for a meal each on another day. Obviously, plentiful doesn’t always mean quality, but for us, it was a really good choice.
