El Tesoro Taqueria Grill

I was often with my friend in El Tesoro, as we live nearby. We both enjoy Mexican food regularly and can confirm It is one of the better fast casual Mexican places. It is one of our classics around the Daly City Pacific Westborough area. The food is always consistent, and I never had anything bad here. My personal favorites are the pollen en salsa or the Chile Verde Pig. I usually go for the super Burrito, great size, good price, and any Entree item or order of at least 2 Tacos comes with free chips and a free Salsa Bar that is excellent?. Unfortunately not enough Mexican places offer their chips or salsa free, but these always taste fresh. I run out of the restaurant chips and use some chips from home to finish the salsa it is so good! This is not the best Mexican food I ever had, but it is tasty and for its consistency, price and free sides, it cannot be simply beaten. The only drawback is that sometimes the staff is not exactly friendly, and the food can quite help when sitting in orders or others in the line or in the restaurant.

This is now my go to Mexican restaurant for the bay area. Parking is tough so I walk from Safeway and or call ahead for quick pick up. Love the dinner plates and the tacos are perfect. A just balanced authentic Mexican food. I had gotten the half pound if chicken dinner plate and 3 tacos. Large menu selection and a variety of types of dishes. Love this place, will be stopping here at least 4 times a month or more. ?

We had the Kamaron (picture) Entree and Pollentacos and they are so good. Will definitely be back.

Authentic local family run Mexican food. Huge menu, everything from tacos to birria de chivo! My super Burrito al Pastor was basically perfect. Huge. Great tortilla, great meat, great salsa. Great tacqueria for lunch and a full menu for dinner.

This is it. I've been searching this area for the perfect taco shop, but have failed epically until I came here. HOORAY! This is a popular SF group, and they do not disappoint here in Daly City. I got rolled tacos, and my husband got a breakfast burrito. YUMMMM! Their salsa bar is fantastic (always a sign of a good place) they have fresh juices, and fresh ingredients. Legit Mexican food. I'm so excited this place just opened up do close. I will be here all the time!
