Grapevine Cafe - South Padre Island

Very good place if you wanna have breakfast in SPI, I had huevos rancheros and they were very good, totally recommend this place if you're in South Padre Island.

The atmosphere is very upbeat and alive. The service is very warm and welcoming. The food is so delicious. All cooked with love and the coffee bar is on another level ?.

In town for a conference and it being the beginning of off season, a lot of the island seemed closed/opened late. Came in here in the morning for coffee. Saw how adorable it was and decided to come back for lunch. We were NOT disappointed. Three of us, all of the food was delicious! We were sat fast, the place was pretty packed, very laid back, and the service was great!

Expect a wait time to get in and to get your food on the weekend. Breakfast was good (pancakes were the highlight, eggs benedict were good and omelet was good too but no cheese inside. It was kind of dry. Prices are high and my waiter was horrible. It's obvious this man did not want to be there. He also never came to refill our drinks at all; we had to ask another waitress for a refill. I did notice though most of the staff was not attentive and didn't have a welcoming/pleasant attitude. It's a shame. Everyone is on vacation and wasting a lot of money that pays their salary. They should be in a happier mood. Regrading the parking be careful. It's small and tight. My car got hit 3 times on the door while vacationing in the island. Not sure if i got hit in this specific parking lot but it definitely could have been one of the locations.
