The Fox Falcon By David Burke

I have been going to the Fox and Falcon since it opened a few years ago. I have known the owner, David, from his prior restaurants in Jersey City and NYC that I used to frequent often. We love going to Fox and Falcon and the food is always superb. It has an atmosphere for everyone form the rustic dining room to the cozy Irish pub in the basement. We spent a lot of time here including during the pandemic when they had the outside seating, tents and heaters. Every time has been a great experience. The food is absolutely incredible and I love that they have some local ciders on the menu! This place is good to bring children as well! Looking forward to many more meals at The Fox Falcon!

Gorgeous inside out. Wood, brick, tin ceilings, fireplaces, trendy, classy, elegant upscale, great heated patios, multi stories with room for parties. Innovative drinks. I did not eat here so I cant speak of the food but experienced amazing dotting staff, that were friendly, attentive accommodating.

Beautiful upbeat place with parking, restaurant food and delicious drinks. We stopped in for a nightcap and it was perfect. The bartender was friendly and knows how to make a good old fashion.

Great place to eat at. Love the atmosphere. The service was great. Enjoying some live music on Friday nights. Food drinks was amazing!

With David Burke as the new head chef, I had high hopes for the Fox Falcon. It was disappointing, to say the least. The interior is pretty much the same as before (Fox Falcon and Ricaltons but the attention to detail that you would expect at a 5-star restaurant is missing by a long shot. For instance, my friend immediately pointed out a light fixture that was broken from months before, so not a good first impression. The food sucked, to be blunt. We sampled a couple appetizers with our drinks, and it took a bit of effort to ask for refills/water. The Asian-inspired lobster dumplings (which our waiter recommended over the tuna tacos were fishy, and (oddly served with a marinara sauce and raw(!! radishes. The flavor combinations, along with the fishy smell, is easily the worst seafood dish in the area. My friend and I split the last dumpling, and it seemed to be slightly less fishy than the others so there is a definite problem with consistency. The 3 dumplings costs $18. We also split the hummus plate, which was meh. The pitas were clearly store-bought and perhaps the hummus too? Veggies were fine but my burger place can also place veggies on the side for $15. Overall, not impressed.
