Sonny's Bagels - South Orange

I go to Sonny's pretty regularly for their excellent bagels. We also recently had them cater an event for about 50 people, and both the food and the service were fantastic. Everything was handled with a personal touch. I'd definitely go to Sonny's again for a catered event.

Stopped in for a few dozen bagels on our way back to NC Fantastic experience all the way around!! Not all bagel shops are created equal... Sonny's is top tier, for sure!!

Outstanding Jersey bagels. Perfectly cooked. Crispy outside and soft on the inside. Order ahead for speedy pickups. Great for catering as well.

By far some of the best bagels around. Great service. Great fish. Great Egg Salad, and loved the Leo Salad too: egg and salmon and onion; reminds me of the scramble I love from Barney Greengrass!What more could you want?

First tried this place back in December 2022. Bagels are made fresh daily. You know this bagel place is serious when my girlfriend's best friend whose about 2hrs from NJ comes to Sonny's for breakfast. My girlfriend ordered bagels to travel with she's very serious about their bagels also lol. I had a strawberry cream cheese bagel and my girlfriend had the cream cheese chive one. I highly recommend the bagels they are really good.
