Antonella's - South Orange

We would never go back to this restaurant after our experience tonight! We have eaten there before so did not ask the price when ordering the whole bronzini. Their prices always seemed to be fair so we expected it to be around $25-$30 which is what we thought it was last time. Since I could not finish it, I requested to take it home. After a long wait, the waitress came over and told us it had been thrown out!! And to make it worse, it cost $40! What was really interesting was that she originally brought us the bill and it had $25 charged for the fish. Then, a few minutes later, she took the bill away and returned it and the price of the fish was raised to $40!! So as upset as I was that they threw out almost half of my dinner, I was furious that half of such a high-priced meal was tossed out! This was most probably the most expensive fish I have ever ordered! They did offer me another piece of fish to take home but could have offered us a free dessert or taken something off of the $40. They will never see us or our friends there again!

This place is extremely good! Food was very fresh and just right! I couldn't have asked for better service either. Our waitress was such a sweetheart and made sure we had everything to our liking. Very accommodating to my girlfriends allergies too! I would recommend this in a heartbeat. We will be going back soon!
