Milwaukee Gourmet House (formerly Muskies)

Went to Muskie's on Wednesday, October 23rd. The outside sign was lit and said open. The establishment was actually closed down with an eviction notice on the door. Wanted to try this place for a long time. I waited too long, now it's gone.

What an expensive lesson. We have the desire for a good pizza. 18.00 is not a bad price until we discovered that is just a cheese medium pie. Each additional add on is 2.50. By the time we would have had what we wanted it would have costed close to 30.00. So we ordered off the menu. It was terrible! I had the so called Italian Bomber. It bombed ok! The bread was so thick that you couldn't taste the sausage, which was tasteless! There was NO sauce on it so it was extremely dry! I would not recommend this place at all. It really sucks because I live two blocks away and I was looking forward to a place close enough to dine out regularly. Also, I had the wings and they were over cooked. The pictures show the issues. Also there is no A/C, it was hot and stuffy.

It's a great atmosphere and good food not fast food hear you get laid back and time to drink in some of the old south Milwaukee and oak Creek history had a very good experience

It's old fashioned, a bit slow, but the prime rib is awesome at a great price. Other food we tried wasn't as good haha.
