Dickey's Barbecue Pit - South Lebanon

Food is good. Always enjoy eating the barbecue and the kids love the chicken nuggets. However the service really brings this place down in a real bad way. I don't think I could have been met with more disgranted employees. They made me feel very uncomfortable from the start as if coming inside was a problem for them. I thought maybe I had come in at closing time to make them upset only to see that they were still open for 2 more hours. Heck I was afraid to ask for barbecue sauce because I didn't want to put them out any more than I had. Maybe good employees are hard to find. I think I'll go to the other Dickies from now on.

Got there at 8:35 p.m. to pick up an Uber Eats order for my customer. The store 's posted closing hour is 9:00 p.m. The staff was still inside cleaning up and it looked like they hadn 't been closed long, so I knocked on the door to see if they might still have the order ready to go. Short, heavyset woman behind the counter looks at me; I showed her my phone to try to communicate I was there for a pickup. She rolled her eyes, drew her finger across her throat, mouthed bye-bye and gave me a bye, Felicia wave. Didn 't come over to the door to find out why I 'd knocked or even to extend the courtesy of saying, I 'm sorry, we 're closed and don 't have the order. Drove a 20-mile round trip on my own gas and wasted 45 minutes of my work time just to get dished a big plate of rude. Hadn 't tried Dickey 's myself yet, and definitely won 't now (at Lebanon, anyway). From the reviews before me, looks like jerky staff 's a common problem at this store. Uncalled for. Yipes.

Good meat, ok sauce, terrible service. Staff were confusing and just not with it. Only two tables clean enough to want to sit it. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
