The Kirkton Inn - South Lanarkshire

Went to the recently refurbished Kirkton Inn for lunch for Mother’s Day. The food was great and the staff are lovely and welcoming.

Gone with partner food was great can see lot of it is freshly cooked chicken dippers even doughnut stick where freshly made . Staff great when ran out of alcohol free beer gone bought me more was great customer experience

Excellent meal in this place , few beers and a nice area out back to sit in the sun , special nights for everyone

I ordered nachos at this restaurant and to put it lightly, I wouldn't even give them to my dogs. Initially, I ordered plain nachos but when they arrived, I noticed oil seeping out of the sides. Upon closer inspection, I realized the bowl was filled with what appeared to be "chili." The homemade tortilla chips were not good at all. If you're going to fry your own chips, the oil needs to be hot enough so they don't soak up all the oil and they should be drained properly after cooking. In addition, the Mac n Cheese we ordered came with undercooked garlic bread and on top of that, the staff couldn't figure out how to get the card machine to work.

On Christmas Eve, my family and I went to this restaurant. It wasn't very crowded, but they were understaffed when we arrived. More staff eventually arrived, but it seemed like nobody knew what they were supposed to be doing. The bar service was incredibly slow and some of the staff were rude.
