Bake N' Butty - South Lanarkshire

I recently visited this restaurant for takeout and it was fantastic. The coronation chicken was the best I have ever had. The staff were also very friendly. I am excited to return in the future.

I did my best, truly. I came for a light snack and coffee and was thoroughly pleased with them. However, before I left, I spotted it on the display shelf: the ultimate sweet treat, the legendary coffee cake. Unable to resist, I had to have it. It was exquisite. I had never tasted anything so delicious before. Now, that coffee cake consumes my thoughts every moment of the day. It's as if I didn't eat the cake, but rather, it consumed me. I even wrote a little poem for it, hoping for one in return. But alas, it never happened. Beautiful cake on display, how many slices will I enjoy today? Please don't leave, don't make me cry, I'll ensure more is made. Tears stream down my face. Where has this cake been all my life?

This cafe is very welcoming and the staff clearly take pride in the food they prepare. The homemade soup is a standout dish and comes at a great price.

I just love this cafe best in Lanark the owner Jonathan is the nicest guy I know always gives you a great welcome and makes you feel welcome in the cafe and is very friendly and can’t do enough for his customers the food is delicious I recommend this cafe to everyone 5 stars x
