Friendly owner , shame the pub was closed , nice walk to Coniston

This restaurant is beautiful, and the walk down to the lake is fabulous! ??

Even though the pub was closed, we had a great time during our stay. We stayed in a beautiful, spacious room with a view of the valley. The facilities were modern and very clean. The cooked breakfast was excellent and we received a warm and friendly welcome.

We camped for 3 nights and had a lovely time (despite the weather! Fab food and beer in the pub with lovely staff. Will be back thank you!

I have always found the Church House Inn a good friendly atmosphere. It has good food, great staff, a beer garden, big car park, is in a darts and domino league team and has regular live music. What is not to love about the place. ????????
