Laurel Bank - South Lakeland

This tea room is fantastic! The staff is exceptional and the food is amazing. It's a charming place to enjoy delicious homestyle cooking in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The music, including quiet Spanish guitar and dreamy old jazz songs, was just perfect. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the area.

Ate here twice during our stay in the area in mid September. One day for lunch, next day for breakfast. Both were great, and excellent service. Met the owner who clearly loves her business and is constantly looking for new ideas and improvements. Highly recommended.

I always have an amazing coffee whenever I visit Laurel Bank. The staff are delightful, and the cafe is a lovely place to relax.

First time here. Sunday afternoon lunch in their lovely garden. Friendly service and delicious simple food. French toast with bacon and maple syrup was very tasty. Good coffee too. My wife lived her pancake with salmon and prawns. Well worth a visit!

We needed to take a break during our journey, and we were pleasantly surprised to discover this restaurant! The service was excellent, the cappuccinos were frothy and delicious, and the Cullen Skink with cheese scone was absolutely tasty. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to try the cakes, which looked enticing with a variety of flavors, but hopefully we'll have another opportunity in the future. They also have lovely cards for sale.
