Excellent food with great service. Small restaurant but definitely the best I have been to in Grasmere and it is many years since I have enjoyed a meal as much anywhere in the Lake District. We had the special starters. Crostini were wonderful and the starter portion tortelloni was excellent. My wife had hake which was perfectly cooked and I had the lamb which was great. And both were decent sized portions (unlike so many so called fancy restaurants). No hesitation in recommending.

Fabulous restaurant! Visited for my birthday last night. Warm welcome, served by a lovely passionate lady who knew the menu so well! The food was delicious. The special cocktail was excellent too. If you're in the area you need to go here!! We went twice during our stay it was so good. Food is amazing as are the staff! Shout out to Dylan (hope I'm spelling that correctly) what a credit to the team! You can tell they all really love what they do. Good selection of drinks and don't skip on the dessert, also amazing!! Fantastic food and service. Feels like a welcoming, family run restaurant. Specials were amazing 100% go here if visiting Grasmere but make sure you book in advance a few walk ins were turned away as we were sat there! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
