Food - South Lakeland

We pre-ordered our staff lunch from this restaurant for National Day and it was absolutely amazing. The pastries, sandwiches, and sweet brownies were delicious and kept us satisfied. We can't wait to try more from here. Thank you!

I am surprised how some people are credulous, this place is seriously overrated.While I accept that the sandwich filler is better than those of the chains produce in mass on the high street, the place is disappointment with small rations filled with baguettes and quite abrupt helpers.That they clearly have a base of customers who are willing to pay for a baguette and filled to be served by collaborators, that they choose a store with a different fight

The chicken mayo baguette is yummy. As is the roma baguette. The cherry scone tastes like a Wi creation X recommend cream and jam xx

I go to food quite a lot as the baguettes made in front of you are really the best you can buy in kendal and I've lived here nearly 10 years!it's always very busy at lunch so I tend to go mid morning.the ingredients are very fresh,the shop is exceptionally clean and the staff take food hygiene very serious.the cost is very reasonable as the baguettes are packed!my favourite is their cheese savoury!

Wine in a quiet lunch I can't complain about the sandwiches, had a chicken Korma 7.50 with a good salad ration and was delicious! However, the service was not very good. Awkward and hospitable. I know it's just a lunch shop, but it was very quiet and the staff could have been a little better.
