Taqueria Jimenez - South Lake Tahoe

Great family owner small taco shop!! We stay in Harrahs and the walk down to this business was about 8min. Definitely worth the walk. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and the place was clean. And very affordable!! I ordered a super Carne Asada Burrito and it's been a long time since I had a Burrito as HUGE. I couldn't finish it in a session. If you are in the mood for Mexicans during your stay in Tahoe, I highly recommend.

Got the super burrito de carne asada. It was delicious!!! It was big so if you dont each much it will be hard to finish but no problem with me because I had my husband finish it. Prices are pretty decent at this place. Added pictures of prices.

Wow. This is the best Mexican food in Lake Tahoe. The prices are just right and tastes very authentic. It's a nice hole in the wall restaurant. They are cash only. The burrito was pretty good and nice staff. I will come back again to eat Mexican food here!

CASH ONLY!!! Absolutely amazing! The carnitas tacos are the best! Only complaint is that it is CASH ONLY and we didn't know that until we got there.

The food was really good we had asada and carnitas tacos and a chicken burrito supreme. Decent prices and walkable from a ton of hotels. Might have given them 5 stars if I didn't have to wait 30 min in the cold for the food
