Ihop - South Lake Tahoe

It was awful. Paid over $50 to feed 4 children off the kids menus and none of them even ate the food. They have new kids menus that don't have pictures or descriptions just games so we had no idea there was overly sweet icing on the kids pancakes first time at IHOP, maybe that's my bad and it's a known thing? . There were descriptions of the kids food in the regular menu, but again, no mention of this icing. My children wouldn't eat it, they said it made their stomachs hurt. The kids burger bun was so burnt my son just ate the meat out of it. I told the server and they said there was nothing they could do because there was no manager there we went on a Tuesday morning . They said they would give the manager my email but I haven't heard from them. Tried calling, still couldn't get a hold of anyone. Honestly, I spent $53 on kids food my kids wouldn't eat only to go spend another $40 at the McDonalds across the street because they were still hungry. We were super excited for IHOP but left super disappointed. Just keep driving past this place :

I expected more being in Lake Tahoe. We couldn’t understand what our server was saying cause his ancent was so strong. My toast was brought to me on a dirty plate! It had grease and lipstick or pink jam on it! My tri tip meat was burnt, my hash browns were burnt and the toast was so hard it broke when i put my own butter on it! Do not recommend eating here!
