Bidra med feedbackA LOT better than the Carrow's breakfast we had before we hit the slopes. It was a bit hidden in the casino but well worth it for a decent breakfast. You'll be asked to wait to be seated. The dining room is large and there are flat screens displaying the current Keno winning numbers. The cushions in the booths was exactly what our tooshies needed after all the falls we took yesterday at Sierra. The breakfast menu had quite a few selections create your own omelette, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, belgium waffles, etc. I had the two eggs, hash browns and split a short stack with a friend. Pretty good food. Everything was nice. Servers, food runners, cashier, etc. FYI the bathrooms are in the WAY back pn your right behind an unmarked door.
With everything really busy and a group of 15 starving, this was our best bet at eating some food without going to a fast food spot. While in Tahoe this weekend we stopped into Harvey's Casino (where I got owned of $200 in a matter of 30 mins) for a regular dinner. This place is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. You can find your standard food items the best place I can really compare it to is denny's they have breakfast, lunch and dinner. All for about $30 for two. As expected they do serve alcohol here. This isnt my PRIME choice for eating in vegas however its very close and located RIGHT next to the tables.. so with that being said.. Ill come here anytime Im in tahoe
Don't. Just Don't Do It. The All you can eat Salad/Pasta/Pizza bar here was super lame. The only decent thing here was the salad bar because they at least had some decent toppings (shrimp/bacon bits). The pizzas were the size of those ones in elementary school cafeterias, and the pasta look like it had been sitting there for hours. For $14, you are better off just ordering something off their menu like a sandwich!
My friend's recommendation reputation took a huge hit after claiming that this was the best omlet he has ever eaten. it turns out he's asian and has no idea what a tasty omlet tastes like (hint: they taste like 2 out of 5 stars). he vomited up his meal outside a casino soon after. life has such a beautiful balance to it, doesn't it? a plus: coffee in a pitcher and constant refills of precious joe at all moments of the meal.
Typical diner in a casino open 24 hours place. Keno runners everywhere. People wearing black socks with shorts. Basic. Food was good. Buffalo wings were crispy and spicy. Ranch was on the watery side. The Iced Tea tasted like dirty water so skip that. The french toast was great. Crispy edges with nice soft and slightly sweet flavor served with warm syrup. Yum!!! DH got some open face turkey sandwich with mashed potatos and gravy. He said it hit the spot and the gravy was pretty good. Nice cheap place with decent food. I like!
