The Black Bull - South Holland

I had a unique experience at this restaurant! I have never been so motivated to write a review after a meal before. Tonight, we had a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Despite it being a busy night, our server REA remained calm and provided excellent recommendations. The cheese board was a standout dish. Having a competent and professional server truly enhances the dining experience. Thank you to all the staff, including the kitchen team who worked tirelessly. We have found our new favorite spot for a good meal at a reasonable price in a laid-back setting. I will definitely be recommending The Black Bull to others.

This review is for a fantastic pub with excellent service and delicious food, all made in-house. They don't buy anything pre-made, and the only downside was the bland desserts. During my visit, I tried the Sunday roast with lamb, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. I also had the citrus cheesecake for dessert, which was generously portioned and beautifully presented.

Had an absolutely amazing afternoon tea for our daughter in-laws baby shower today. Lee and Julie laid on the most perfect spread with an incredible atmosphere. The staff all went the extra mile to provide the best service possible. They are an incredible team. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend the Black Bull for any occasion. Great value for money too! We will be back!xxxx

The BEST food you will ever eat! And the nicest staff too. This place is brilliant, the food is absolutely amazing and the service is spot on. The manager, Lee, is a true gentleman and can’t do enough for you. He knows exactly how to treat his staff because they are all so lovely too and the chefs will blow you away with their cooking skills! The restaurant/pub itself is done up really nicely, very clean and comfortable. Really family friendly, I took my 1 year old and the staff were fantastic with him. I visit this place frequently, it is by far my favourite place to eat.

What a wonderful dining experience! Cheese night which has a vast selection of menu options, that suits most palates! I started with baked boursin with bacon jam, followed by pork belly and dauphinoise potatoes and a cheese board to finish. Delicious food, attentive waitresses in a welcoming environment. Will definitely be retuning!
