Bidra med feedbackFreezing cold as door to play area at the back was wide open as was the front door, creating a wind tunnel. As my friend and I were the only 2 people there I asked if we could shut the door and was told no because of health and safety because of kids area but there were no kids!! Took 15 minutes to even get a coffee, and the food was overpriced- they had brie and bacon, or brie and cranberry sauce-I like all three so asked for this and was charged an extra £1.30! Harsh.
I ordered an afternoon tea for my sister’s birthday, and we were not disappointed! We both have allergies, and this posed no problem at all. We were accommodated with two absolutely delicious afternoon teas, free of anything we might have had a reaction to. The sandwiches were so good. The bread was really fresh, and the fillings super tasty. The mini quiches were a lovely touch, and there was a great selection of mini cakes. Obviously, the scones with clotted cream and jam were amazing!!!! Everything had been freshly prepared, and that made a big difference to how everything tasted, SO good!! We had the best socially distanced afternoon tea picnic in the park, topped off with some thermos flasks of hot tea that we had brought with us. A birthday to remember! I would 100% recommend. Fantastic, friendly service, excellent value for money. Will definitely be treating ourselves again in the not too distant future. Thank you so much!!
Great coffee and cakes to die for, haven’t tried lunch times but hope to soon.staff pleasant and helpful.
I paid $4.50 for a sandwich that had store-bought hummus, one tomato, and four pieces of lettuce. The bread was good, but overall, it was too expensive for what I got.
27/6/19 Have been in previously, came back to see if it had changed. Eva (whose last day it is) was spot on perfect with a request for an iced mocha, was the best I've had in UK. The choco orange jaffa cake was soft tasty. Wishing Eva all the best for the future.
