Sweet Berry Cafe - South Elgin

Worst place ever took my family to eat for breakfast ordered the sweet berry pancakes bought leftovers to my house. The next morning when I took them out of the refrigerator, the strawberries were moldy and had hair on them. I have been to other restaurants were the next day leftovers strawberries don’t get moldy or have hair growing of the strawberries the next day. Great food, fast service. Gem in South Elgin. Love this place, friendly service!

Wasn't thrilled with the food, have had a lot better for the same price at other places. Potatoes were too salty for us, food was lukewarm, pancakes were well done. Scrambled eggs and omlete were just ok. Server and staff were nice and pleasant though. Did not try any of the fancy dishes those might be better? It was food and I didn't have to do dishes.

If your going to charge $7.00 for 2 Bella mushrooms. Then I should of gotten credit for English muffin. Portions were good and food was cooked well.

Horrible customer service, even by today’s low standards. Went there on Tues 1pm. Not busy at all. Young woman behind register was trying to input an order into their system. She says to me: “I’ll be with you in a second” I lounge around for about 3—5 minutes, while she’s having a hard time placing the order.
