Kc Fishbar And Restaurant

Poor service. Ordered via Just Eat, driver didn't collect. Not the restaurants fault. I rang them to chase my order only to fobbed off and told to contact Just Eat. No attempt to solve the issue. Apparently they don't get the customer contact details so we're unable to contact me. I find this difficult to believe. Earlier on the same evening another restaurant contacted me about an order I had placed through Just Eat on behalf of my parents. If they had my number, why didn't KC? I realise that it's the driver not picking up that was the first issue, something the restaurant can't control. But to be fobbed off on the phone as I was is not acceptable.

My wife and I have been visiting KC for the past 5 years or so, and have always had a good meal here. We stick to Fish and Chips, so cannot comment on anything else. My wife has a large Cod, Steamed, not fried and even at busy times they will do it for her. I have tried a piece of hers now and then and it is always succulent, and well cooked. I have a large haddock fillet, lightly battered, and we share a small plate of chips. We both like our chips a bit crisp, so they pop them back in for us, even at busy times, and they come out just right. I have been today on my own, and had a bit of difficulty finding a table, but even so I was only waiting for about 10 minutes. My fish was hanging over both ends of the oval plate so you can see what a good size it was. Fish and small chips to eat in is £7.25, and worth every penny.

A weekly treat to travel here to always enjoy some of the best fish and chips. Always clean and always friendly.

Here you are able to sit down in a spacious, relaxing and extremely clean environment. A range of Newspapers are available to read. You are never hurried. The food is excellent. I now go quite regularly with my brother. I have small cod, chips peas and batter bits my brother has large cod small chips and batter bits. His large fish is very often cooked fresh for him. I have also tried the full English breakfast. Excellent quality and value for money. The staff are lovyand the service first class.
