The Stove Cafe - South Cambridgeshire

We had a wonderful Friday night dinner and Saturday afternoon tee in the stove recently. I would definitely recommend it for a standard buffet as well as for its cakes, brownies etc.

Every time we visit, we enjoy the fresh, healthy eating. delicious cake and you can take a piece home. tables also outside so they can go with their dog. beautiful bakery attached and a metzger within few minutes to foot. Please note that they book for a Saturday meal. popular for cream teas.

It was a Thursday afternoon when I visited. it was quiet with only four or five other customers. I was quickly served by friendly staff. the cheese and the cake were good as the coffee. the prices were reasonable to make it a reasonable price-performance ratio. free wlan was present, always a plus. pretty smart rustic decoration if that is not contradictory. there is also an outside area for sir. I feel a bit mean, 'only there are four stars; my head says it deserves five, but my heart stopped it the full quota of stars. since my first visit I visited several times, at the latest in the January 2022. in this last visit I had a cherry frangipane tart and it was raised; a beautiful crispy chest, soft frangipani, abundant juicy cherry and a delicious baked base. all this I have raised my first 4-star rating up to five.

Friendly staff, busy all morning with a good atmosphere when a little loud; especially a mix of profitable and young families, with the occasional young couple. eating is simple, abundantly portioned and we will put together. some interesting combos of the cook that has clearly a good understanding of the aromen (always some of its ideas for the use steal to the house! . service is fast and the coffee is also quite good.

Nice little cafe. Good choice for gluten free food and plenty choices for cakes. Not so good for us during winter months as no dogs allowed inside.
