Bidra med feedbackI am a bit late in posting my review, but my partner and I visited this pub recently. Upon entering, the strong smell of dog hit us, which was quite unpleasant. Despite my love for dogs, the odor was overwhelming, indicating that the place could use a thorough cleaning. The pub itself appeared dark and gloomy, with the staff seeming friendly but not very attentive. They mostly sat on stools behind the bar, chatting with other patrons, making it necessary to actively seek their attention for service. The landlord and landlady were rude and loud, giving off a vibe of poor customer service. It felt more like a hangout spot for the landlord and his friends, rather than a welcoming establishment for customers. The overall atmosphere was unwelcoming, with everyone staring as we entered. The garden was unclean, serving as more of a dog toilet than a pleasant outdoor space. In short, the experience was disappointing, and we have no plans to return anytime soon.
My family received a warm welcome with a friendly smile and polite service at this restaurant. The beers were excellent and the pub had a lot of charm. Overall, it was a very enjoyable afternoon.
I hate to be rude, but the beer and ambiance at this place are terrible. The waitstaff seems uninterested and the owner is intimidating. I only stopped in for a quick drink and left right away. I definitely won't be returning.
I have been coming to this pub.for quite a while Not only is there 3excellent real ales well kept.not only is there welcoming staff but the pub also has character.Burnham off the A4 between Maidenhead and Slough has 5 pubs but the Garibaldi is high on the list.A old review said it catered for Sunday lunches but now food is only available for special occasions
This an excellent Real Ale pub, with a very good Land Lady. It also does Sunday Lunches to order. It is pleasing that this has a good atmosphere.
