Akash Tandoori - South Bucks

I know a few people have asked for Indian food recommendations recently. We have just had a meal for 10 at the Akash and can’t recommend them highly enough. Amazing food at reasonable prices. A good selection of food including a substantial vegetarian menu (not just sides) and the fish curry was fantastic. The service was excellent, they helped us order the right number of sides and were quick with our drinks, very attentive. We will definitely be back again!

We have been dining at Akash since 1983 and are happy to report that the food remains excellent under the new management. The menu includes classic dishes as well as new and flavorful options. The staff were warmly welcoming during our visit. We look forward to returning and highly recommend Akash to curry lovers.

Everything about this restaurant was 5 star. The host was super friendly, the service was friendly, chatty and helpful. The food was phenomenol. The croquets devine! All of the flavours were sooo good. And it was a really nice atmosphere to dine in. Also felt the food was reasonably priced. Two starters, 1 main to share two deserts, plus two cocktails including service charge was £74. I will definitely be coming again.

Outstanding food, attentive service, incredible value. The best Indian restaurant for miles! And we’ve tried the best ones! We will be back next week. Would highly recommend

Tried to get a table, in a restaurant with only two people in it, only to be told “we are fully booked”. Even the two people eating started making comments saying “ must be a party of ghosts in”. After visiting another restaurant we went passed Akash an hour later and still 75% of the tables where empty.
