Johnny Carino's - South Brazos

Had a family gathering of around 20 the last week of April and service was terrible. Had to constantly request simple items such a drink refills, serving utensils, coming in to bus the tables, etcFood was placed in the serving trays and was not kept heated after requests to have the warmer turned on.I feel a two star review is justified. At least the bread was good.

Best Italian food, always made hot and fresh. I dine here every Saturday. they're spicy shrimp and chicken is the best. wait staff are nice and courteous.

Terrible experience. Had to wait 10 minutes at the door just to see any movement in the restaurant and to be seated by the hostess. She was yelling across the restaurant constantly. The waitress Anastasia was sweet, and generally attentive. The food however was expensive and just plain gross. It was almost unedible. We ordered a salad with added chicken, it came out beautifully presented but the chicken tasted like charcoal and mildew. The lasagna came out on a hot plate but the center was cold. The eggplant was flimsy, bland, and slimy. Couldn't finish either dish. Hats off to the waitress for keeping a smile on her face...

Don’t get delivery or takeout. Each time we ordered Alfredo for delivery or take out we received just pasta, no sauce. And the shrimp Alfredo, you can barely find the shrimp there is so few. I know they do better if eating in but for takeout delivery, horrible.

Loved it!! Had a mango margarita, then Italian nachos as an appetizer, after that I had lasagna and chicken parmesan for dinner. Both were delicious! I finished off with some awesome tiramisu for dessert! The service was on point and super friendly. I left feeling great!! Thanks for an awesome dinner! I'll be back very soon!
