Bidra med feedbackIt's a no for me. My husband and I saw this restaurant on Phantom Gourmet and decided to give it this morning (3/30/19), for Brunch we were their first guest for the 11:00 Brunch. Beautiful retro restaurant with a promising menu. We shared the devil eggs that had too much mustard and not much other than taste. We both ordered the chicken and waffles and were very quickly disappointed, both orders from waffles were cold, not room temperature, but cold, as if they were prefabricated and sat in the refrigerator. As the first customer and order at the beginning of the brunch, how can it not be right if not perfect? My first impression was that the kitchen didn't make the food right so that the waffle was gone before the chicken was finished. The manager came to the table and apologized for the badly cooked meal, both removed from the bill, and laid two orders of chicken and waffles for us. The second round of chicken and waffles came hot, the waffle was very delicious. On the waffle was a huge fried chicken breast, almost the size of the waffle, and on the chicken, was a big pile of butter. Where the waffle was good, the taste of the chicken in all the butter on the head of it was not well lost! Imagine brewing the chicken at home and then putting it in butter. The taste of fried chicken should stand alone. I hope others have a better experience than us.
Mediocre pub food with a middling beer selection. Very loud. Very slow service. Probably attractive for young people looking for a loud mood. None of the foods were especially fresh or hot. Nachos needed more toppings to chip ratio. Everything was very salty.
On a snow-covered Saturday, the fried pickles, yum... The devil eggs are good. For the main I had the chicken and waffles chicken was perfectly cooked... Waffles are the bubbly also type. Syrup was delicious, not too sweet. Five dollars Momosas are delicious. To dessert.
I ordered the 18oz Prime Rib and it was DELICIOUS!!! Go away and command, you won't regret it. Also the service was great, attentive waiter, but not too attentive. The manager I think his name was JP(? came over and asked for a review of the main rib. I told him it was the reason I came. Totes worth it especially since I was on Whole30 this month and nothing was the satisfying delicious!!! Come back soon!!!
Wings are excellent, good size and definitely quality chicken. You can get them dry or sauced. You get about 8 wings for $11 which is fairly priced. Onion rings are awesome as well. They're very big and really, really thick. Pretty sure they actually put cheese in them as well giving them a unique taste. Probably my favorite onion rings to date. The Nashville hot chicken.... Now this is where things switch up. The chicken itself is very tasty, perfectly seasoned and cooked, and of great quality. However, it wasn't spicy at all. Although it tasted awesome, it was definitely lacking in the heat department, and this is someone who's a pansy when it comes to spice. Overall a greater place, lots of items to choose from, and great vibe. They have a couple arcade games, two bars, and a corn hole area. Definitely going back and would highly recommend for a laid back lunch dinner.
