The Buffet South Bend

Very good food and great service. It was a quiet and enjoyable dinner experience. We will definitely return.

My sister and daughter and I ordered the same meal, it was the special for the night which the main part of the meal was a filaet mignon which usually a very tender cut of meat but it wasn't. We were even having difficulty cutting it with a steak knife. I don't think we will be eating there again Dick Divine

This is a really good alternative to the other restaurants in the casino. Always quiet but that might be because I've never seen it full in there. They need to do a better job of promoting this restaurant. Our server Logan was so nice and helpful. Food was delicious. My only complaint is that I requested a pool/fireside view and when we got there (on time for our reservation), all of those tables were occupied but the rest of the restaurant was virtually empty. We were told we'd have to wait for one of the tables I requested when I made the reservation. I'm not sure why they didn't save one of those tables for the reservation.

We met for 3:45pm. We sat immediately and took a little time for the server to come get our drink order. After we ordered drinks it took additional time for her to be able to gather our order. It appears they only had 2 waitresses serving all guests inside the dining room and pool areas. The manager brought our food out and was missing an item. Overall the food was good but service was less than expected especially with the higher prices Edgewater Cafe has. The waitress did the best she could when put in a bad situation from management. Overall 2 Burgers w fries and a Soup and Salad $59. Prices are salty for the service you receive.

Daniel was very good. He checked on us just enough. He was very courteous catered to our requests. The food was delicious.
