Jeannie's House Diner - South Bend

Great food and wonderful people. A little small and crowded, but that's okay. Very warm and friendly.

If you’re looking for a good diner, it doesn’t get better than this. Delicious food, great hospitality, and fair prices. I’ve been to diners literally all across this country and this one is darn near perfect. P.S. Don’t say no to their homemade jam.

Great breakfast spot. The specials with coffee included are a really good deal, and the portions are large. Service was fairly quick despite only having 2 people running the show. Both the cook and the server were really great, fast service and great people skills. It is a tight squeeze however (small diner) so I would not recommend for large groups, which honestly to me is an attraction.

Food was delicious. Dining atmosphere is super small. If they are busy you literally cannot move through the place. Most seating is at a bar style area.

Probably the best place in South Bend to grab breakfast/brunch on the weekends. It's a small friendly local business with great staff and great food. The building is small, but the portions are large, and their hearts are even bigger. Highly recommend!
