Bidra med feedbackGreat place. The meat is amazing. Juicy not too chewy. And there sauces are awesome. Love there tangy sauce. Perfect. The meat is as good if not better. Only other thing is there coslaw could use some. Taste. It's just bland. Personally.
I ordered the sampler platter which consisted of pulled pork, mini tips, and brisket. Normally you get St Louis style ribs but they were out so I got brisket. That was $16. I also added a side of collard greens for $4 and a side of mac and cheese for $3. The mac and cheese is made with asiago cheese and its really, really good and creamy. The collard greens are cooked with pork, red peppers and onions and is a bit spicy. The ribs are so tender you can literally pull them apart with your lips. The sauce is very delicious and very saucy, there was a lot of sauce on my meat, next time I could probably use less. Everything was absolutely delicious and I will be going back for sure!

Sadly, the owner has passed away, and is no longer open, he was a good guy and friend, will be missed! Rip
On our way to Chicago to see Iron Maiden. So I pulled up my Yelp App and looked for something local. We decided on BBQ and found this place. We love to try BBQ in different places all over the US. I don 't think we 've ever had any really bad BBQ. This was no exception. I wish I could remember what we had, but I can 't locate any pics on my phone or 'cloud '.
