Bill's Place - South Bend

Won't lie felt kind of suspicious of the staff there. Went there awhile ago but the visit is memorable not for good reasons. I might be over the top but I felt kind of discriminated against in the subtleties of this restaurant. We both order steak and eggs. We ask for strawberry jelly but brings grape also. Okay didn't ask for it but Okay. Then we ask for a1 sauce brings hot sauce also. Now I was a little wary of this now because tf. I have never in my life seen someone put hot sauce on steak. And the way they acted also added to this.

I'll always love this place. I've been here since I was little and every time you come, they remember your last conversation and start as you do. It doesn't matter whether it's weeks, months or years. Love is in service and you can definitely taste that homemade meal.

For years since last visit (Traveling) . was very happy with simple patty melt n Fries. good attractive plate made. super service . was busy. was able to share a table with another man eating alone. I'll be back and servers were there 20 plus years.

I got a burger and it was delicious, also the place was very nicely decorated and the staff was so friendly

I enjoyed it very much. The Ruben was a plate of beef that stood opposite the usual pile of thin slices. It made for a very rich flavored sandwich.
