Applebee's - South Bend

Our waitress was the best!! Our food wasn't cooked right and she took it back immediately and made the cook replace it. He even came out to make sure it was right the second time around.

Good food and although our server was new she worked hard to provide great customer service...good prices...l do wish more restaurants had non caffeine teas especially hot teas ....

It's Applebee's, so you know what to expect. We decided to go there since we had a gift card. While I'm not a huge fan of Applebee's overall, I had a pleasant experience this evening. The service was very friendly, and the staff was quite attentive. The manager even came by to check on us when our appetizer took a little longer than usual, even though we hadn’t noticed any delay. The French Onion soup was good, but I wasn't a fan of the Zesty Roma Chicken and Shrimp as it had a strange seasoning that didn't appeal to me. My wife, on the other hand, enjoyed her Chicken Caesar Salad. The dessert shooters never disappoint. However, I did find it off-putting that our waitress brought the check before we had even started our meal. We wanted to order dessert and hadn’t even begun eating, which made it feel like we were being rushed, even though the restaurant was empty. Overall, it’s a decent place, but if you’re already familiar with Applebee's, you might want to try somewhere new in the area.

I’ve only been there once so far, visiting shortly after they opened on a weekday morning. I ordered a full rack of ribs and fries, and finished off with a brownie bite for dessert. The food was excellent, and I was impressed that they had a complete menu available that early. The service was above average; the bartender was multitasking by waiting on tables and preparing drinks. Overall, I had a great experience!

The service was quick for the time of day. The bathrooms were clean. The food was decent, and the portions were generous.
