Best espresso martini ever and super friendly staff!

I haven't even stepped foot inside yet, but I've heard the food is very good. I really don't know anything about the owner or the staff.That being said, people I do know were involved in 2 separate fights there, so in a very short time period, the place has gotten a bad reputation. This will not prevent me from going, nor should it prevent others since those were isolated incidents among people who knew each other. Best of luck to DD Tavern.I will update with my personal review after I have eaten there.

Best place in South Amboy for a drink and a bite! Awesome bartenders! Great cocktails and excellent food! 10/10

Always enjoyed the company here, as well as the menu items. So far, I've had the chicken sandwich and wraps and they were satiating. The bartenders here are fantastic and friendly as well. The atmosphere here is excellent as the crowd here is very broad which is great if you're seeking some cerebral stimulation but fair warning to keep quiet late at night while outside.

Love this bar! Reminds me of home ? friendly people and staff and the owner is super chill. I'll definitely be back all the way from NYC!
