Delio's Pizza Hero Shop - South Amboy

The owners have been there for over 30 years and are wonderful Italian people. I really enjoy being double cheese pizza. I have to comment on one of the negative comments about criminals in the city and feel very sad that someone would say something about this beautiful business. Come and enjoy.

I came there today for one slice of pizza , the owners are soooooo nice.... I got a free slice of pizza because I gave tip $2 more. She was so cute ….The pizza was delicious ! I will be back again

So long story short. I have lived 15 minutes away from Delio Pizza for about 15 years. I now drive past several other pizza restaurants for my meatball dinners. Delio's has great food and a even better family running it. My only regret is not finding it sooner...

Delio's is Delicioso! Let me tell you somethin'. Growing up between Brooklyn and Jersey, I know a good slice when i see (and eat) one. Being rather new to the area, we were on the hunt for the pizza spot to make our family friday night ritual complete. Delio's sicilian is so spot on, nothing else compares. We tried Krispy's in Old Bridge. Been to Sciortino's a million times. This was it. Delightfully crispy crust on the bottoms, the cheese isn't heavy and the sauce is impeccable. I love how old school this place is, sends me right back to Bay Ridge on 3rd Ave. This Nonna and Nonno not only captured our taste buds, but they captured our hearts as well. Take our money forever, we love it here. Thank you for being so kind and generous! Come check it out! You won't be disappointed (as long as you bring cash with you).
